Old Fresca spot with similar menu. Really friendly service. Try the Causta Atun.

Delicious and fancy, if obscenely expensive. It made a great fancy valentines dinner but I don’t understand why everyone was dressed casual and had kids with them. Dinner for two with an appetizer and dessert came out to $130 before tip! One of the most expensive meals I’ve had in my life. It was great but it would have still been pricy at half the cost.

Very good food, very clean, very proffessional.

Excellent taste of paella! Home-made fruit punch with subtle sweetness paired perfectly good with it. Could't resist ordering Cinnamon cake finally...that was awesome!

This restaurant is a gem. Expect the unexpected: gourmet versions (each with a unique twist) of Latin American dishes. The decor is warm and pleasant, upscale for the area, and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. I like that they offer a number of inexpensive lunch specials each day.

What a hidden gem!! This place serves amazing Peruvian food and the service is absolutely outstanding. Ceviche is the best I've had in the US. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 star is the atmosphere. I wish it's more authentic. It would be nice of them to play some Peruvian music.

Food is good but not good as I expected. They used to have a delicious vegetarian specialty (the quinoa dish) and when I went last time they told me that they did no have it anymore, at least at Fresca in West portal. Also, the sauce of the yuca is too spicy. The fried plantain is good and desserts too, specially the alfajores :).

Such great food here! I liked almost everything I tried. Starters were ceviche with a side of fried plantains, beef empanadas, and crab cream-stuffed tequenos. But the star of the show was the pescado a lo macho, a whole fried fish with delicious, creamy seafood stew and rice, which I would have devoured entirely if I hadn't mistakenly stuffed myself with appetizers. The paella was good as well, and a lot of things coming out of the kitchen smelled amazing. Prices for entrees are high, but the servings are also large, so you can split with someone or eat for a couple of meals. Definitely a good spot with good service if you are craving a tasty meal from the other side of the world.

The best ceviche in SF for 2019- who would have thought it would be in the little hamlet of West Portal? The two snapper ceviches and the salmon are truly delicious- excellent quality of fish here and the prices are very reasonable for the level of quality

Excellent food and superb service. Place is clean and ambient and is the perfect atmosphere to grab a bite by yourself or to go with a group. Menu is short and not cluttered with too many items.

We visited when no one was there. The waiter was helpful and explained a lot. Peruvian is a bit different. I liked the food. Ceviche appetizers were great and the main course came out fresh and tasty.

Flavorful Peruvian food at a reasonable price.

Good food. Friendly service.

Cozy neighborhood Peruvian spot. Consistently good food, friendly, helpful wait staff. I especially liked the ceviche sampler and the chuleta de chancho but everything I've had there was good..

O. M. G! The food was incredible! And the staff was very friendly. Make a reservation as it can get full quickly. And order the sangria!

Good food and i like the fact their menu is "Latin" instead of just one specific country. The photo posted are Papusas.

One of the best place to dinner in San Francisco. The stuff is very nice and the atmosphere is amazing, I highly recommend it.

The ceviche and cocktails were top notch. Some of the best ceviche I've ever had. Our entrees left something to be desired though, they were just lacking a little something to make it worth the price point. I'd happily return to eat more ceviche and share smaller plates with people, we just weren't thrilled with the main dishes we all chose.

Food is good. I like them more for brunch and lunch. Dinner is a bit pricey for what you get.

Horribly disappointed in the experience we just received, my husband and myself along with our three year old daughter were looking forward to a great new year eves dinner. We made 8:45pm reservations, was seated at 8:31pm and did not receive service for food at all. At 9:05pm we inquired about our food and was given "it's coming". What makes matters worse is two tables that were seated after us, received great service and food before us....we got our things and left very embarrassed and disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the bay area.

Enjoyed the fresh and tasty Peruvian food and sangria. Portions are good size and really liked the many seafood dishes (fish dish I had kept the head on which I don't at all mind) which included a lot of seafood variety. Fried chicken starter hard to go wrong. Flan dessert had a nice custard texture and not over sweetened, the way I like it.

Once we arrived I felt like I’d been here before, and I was right, the restaurant used to be Fresca. Both restaurants are Peruvian food after all. The place seemed to get busy later than expected for a Sunday night and seemed to be a lot of neighborhood folks coming in that hadn’t been in a while. Over all the menu and food was similar to that of Fresca, just trimmed down menu, which I find better to keep ingredients fresher. Food was decent over all as we did clean our plates, service seemed like they needed just one extra bus boy. Didn’t get a refill on water until we asked for the check. Good for neighborhood spot but not enough for me unfortunately.

It's no longer called Fresca. It's something like Franco LatinTable. It has similar menu as Fresca. Big dinner portions. Good atmosphere for dinner dates or family dinner.

I may be a fat American but at least I know good food. The food is great here, so interesting and a bit different. I always expect to be full when I leave and maybe I give them too much heat for not stuffing my face. Pleasant experience all the way.

Food at Franco’s is always amazing! Rocky is my favorite server. He always has the best customers service. My to go dishes are the Pescado a lo Macho, The Bistek Steak cooked perfectly every time, the Choritos Mussles with Chorizo are to die for. I always have to have the sangria one of the best one in my opinion. Make sure to try the Picarones for dessert. They are amazing!!!

It was my first time to try peruvian food and my experience here was really good.

I had the roast chicken, it was a bit dry. The chicken soup was flavorful and the cause was ok. We waited a long time because there was a large group ahed of us. Service was ok. Hard to get parking.

Decided on two appetizers for dinner....wise choice. So amazing and delicious. One was a skewer with shrimp and chorizo, the other a crab salad...both I would order again.

Staff was attentive and their recommendations were really good. Delicious seafood. Try the ceviche.

Seafood stew in coconut sauce was delicious. Good brunch menu too on weekends.
